This is a sound 19th century property furnished in a warm, unostentatious style with many thoughtful details. In the sitting room you’ll appreciate the quality seating, an electric fire and quiet lighting. The T.V. and DVD sit on a distinctive wooden raised area and there’s a chest with holiday reading, games and a full folder of tourist literature.
The versatile dining area leads to a traditional galley kitchen with ample cupboards, cooker, fridge, microwave and washing machine. There’s a downstairs toilet, a cloakroom for outdoor kit (with heater and dehumidifier), and some under stair storage space.
Upstairs, the three bedrooms offer a choice of sleeping accommodation for up to seven people. There’s a double bedroom to the front as well as a family room with a double bed, single bed and wash basin. The back bedroom has adult size bunk beds. Taken together, the bedrooms provide plenty of storage space for holiday clothes. The bright south-facing bathroom has a shower above the bath.
The house is all electric and easily heated. Fuel costs are included in the rent, as are duvet covers, sheets/pillowcases, dish and hand towels.
A gate to the side of the house leads to our secure cycle store (for 3 bikes). There’s space to store kayaks etc in this entry too, and a small gravelled area with garden bench to the rear. Free parking on the street.
