We’d a week at 45 to round off the amazing Scottish summer of 2021. As well as our usual walk around Carlingwark Loch, we enjoyed a very good circular cycle ride on country roads: 45 to Palnackie, Dalbeattie, Crocketford, Kirkpatrick Durham and home. About 28 miles. We were impressed with the range of stalls at the Farmers’ and Producers’ Market on its monthly visit to Kirkcudbright.
